Stag is an animal that attracts most people who are interested in wildlife. Stag is an animal with thin legs and a beautiful horn that adorn its mesmerizing character. A foolish stag, however, is a character of great interest for a known history.
One of the most noticeable characteristics that differentiate a stag from other animals is its jumping motion. A stag jumps more often than walking or running, and this unique behavior can easily be recognized while watching it in action. However, there exists one behavior that sets stags apart from animals. That is the tendency of a stag to run with both front feet off the ground during interim flight.
There are several fairy tales associated with stag, and we will discuss one of them.
Once upon a time, there was a stag who didn’t appreciate the body nature had blessed him. He had a standard of beauty contradictory to that of nature, where everything is beautiful in its due place.
Every other animal of the jungle used to talk about the beauty of horns and his fast speed maneuvers. Let aside animals; humans had a feeling of appreciation for the good-looking personality of deer.
However, If there was no one satisfied with the appearances, it was the stag himself.
The stag was once flooded with all these negative thoughts and wanted to go on a long drive. Thus, the stag geared himself up and left for a place away from family members to take a deep breath and escape from the hustle and bustle of monotonous routine.
While he was scolding himself, looking at his reflection in the clear water of the stream, humans were approaching him for a hunt. These humans had come to take the horns of the stag to hang it proudly in their hall of fame. The skin of stag was also going to help them keep themselves warm, and the meat was in plenty for a celebration.
The stag was, however, busy complaining about the misery in his life. He had no idea about the hunter getting closer. The flashing sound of the killers running towards him from his backside made the stag fishy about the condition. Meanwhile, the sound of hunting dogs took his consciousness away from him, and he felt dead for a while.
While the threat was growing closer, and life seemed to cease, he took his last decision of putting all his efforts into saving his life. He took an active flight to run away from the danger and felt his legs helping him evade the situation. He felt for the first time the importance of his thin legs about whom he never felt proud. The same ugly legs were now proving their perfection.
However, fate had its promises to fulfill. The horn that decorated his head for his entire life and whose beauty never disappointed him gave him the blow of his life. The safety of the stag had compromised, and he had his horns entangled in the bushes. He was trying to cross the shrubs between the trees but couldn’t.
The hunters reached closer and closer while he started feeling helpless. He started cursing his horn for the responsibility of his demise, but it was too late for now. The hunters killed him mercilessly. The stag lost his life because of the antlers for which he was once proud.
As the quality of life is improving, we humans are growing more unappreciative and unthankful for the blessing we have in our lives. We are setting the wrong standards of beauty, happiness, and success. In a run to achieve that has nothing to do with our satisfaction and contentment, we are losing our time of stay in this world.
It is essential to understand the purpose of life and the philosophy of life. We as humans also have to learn about living for our personal and familial life and not for the rest of the world.
